Coonawarra & Limestone Coast

An intriguing landscape of limestone caves, craggy outcrops and chalky white roads, gives you yet another new experience. Plentiful produce will tempt your tastebuds, with crayfish from the Southern Ocean, barramundi, trout and yabbies from the freshwater farms and venison from the hinterland.

The most lauded wine region of the Limestone Coast lies about 4 hours south east of Adelaide. Coonawarra produces some fine red wines. The famed terra rossa soil is credited with the region's success, and as it covers such a small area, it is no surprise that the Coonawarra is completely dominated by vineyards.
