Established in 1851, this is the oldest winery in the Clare Valley. Owned by Jesuits, the original purpose of the cellars was to provide sacramental wine for religious use. Now they produce white, red and fortified wine in addition to sacramental wine.

Located in the vineyards close to St Aloysius Church, during your visit here you are welcome to enjoy the lawned picnic area and to wander through the old cellars, the church and the crypt. You can even hire bicycles for touring the Riesling Trail.

Sevenhill Cellars is one in over 60 participating wineries that make up the South Australian wine experience known as the Cellar Door Pass.
